Socha bhi Na Tha

Socha bhi Na Tha
Author: Sriman Narayanan
Publisher: Srishti

By seeing cover pic and the tag line 'Love, Heartbreak & Marriage', I framed the story would be a
triangular relationship where either of couple will be tied and another one will walk away. But
it was not like that.

Socha Bhi Na Tha

The author tried build two stories simultaneously, but stories are not concurrent. One relationship
with Padma is decaying and another with Aditi is ripening. Another integral part of the story is mail conversation, instead of chat or long duration call.
Padma who doesn't have any remarkable quality which can steal Shyam's heart, but circumstances make him to say 'Yes' when she proposed her and gets married. The relationship didn't last long. Aditi is a character of beauty and charming, impresses Shyam easily. But when she professes her love to Shyam, he replies 'No'. Later when Shyam feels 'Love' and expresses his feelings , Aditi refuses to accept. Eventually Shyam gets settled along with Shrisha.
The heart-broken part has been expressed very honestly, you can relate if you have gone through. But
the story has been marinated with too much office stuffs which may not be interesting to everyone. At end of the story you will find out the truth of life, "Your Past is your Destiny. Your future is your
free will. Your present is your prarabdha karma".
