A steaming cup of tea is a story of Anju, an indian housewife who binds the family together by acting as the adhesive between the members of the family. Her family has children, husband and in-laws.
Alike other house wife she sacrifices everything to ensure happiness in family until she realises the changes around her. The known persons turn to stranger, she doesn't find her importance in family despite of many contributions.

The story is short but the essence of the story is not short. The situation of every indian wife's life depicts through this story. You can easily relate someone around you, even not still you will start show more respect for your mother , sister-in-law.

The protagonist of the story Siddharth aspires to climb Mt. Everest one day. From childhood days he has a creatures within himself which provokes him to climb up and later he finds scaling hill stations give him more satisfaction. But his parents don't want him to live in the dream of conquering the Mt Everest. Finally he makes out a last chance before marriage to pursue his dream. To accomplish the dream he reaches the base camp and meets Dohna, the sherpani. .

The language of the book is very lucid. At some point i have felt very predictive and not so much turns or twists . It's a short story and author didn't waste time to building other characters, rather she concentrated to express ups and downs in the relationship. I would recommend to them who love the romantic Stories.

'Small is Big' is a special kind of book where some common words has been described in few lines. The emotions, exasperation, endearment have been sprinkled at every page.
Some quotes are really interesting which touch the heart and some lines have deep meaning which expose the dark side of society.

"The rapist's suffering ended after completing the fourteen-year sentence.

But this victim's suffering continues."

It was an emotional journey, passing through all possible kind of human reactions. While reading third part of the series, I do regret for missing prior two volumes. I would like to recommend to all readers , because it's easy to understand the meaning and not so much time consuming.
